Mumbai: Fire broke out in bike showroom, 100 bikes destroyed

Mumbai June 12 (Reporter) A major fire broke out at a motorcycle showroom at Ambernath in neighbouring Kalyan city, destroying around 100 motorcycles with no casualties reported, officials said here on Thursday. The fire broke out at 3 AM at the Suzuki showroom located on the Kalyan-Ambernath Road. Fortunately, the premises were unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported. Three fire engines from Kalyan and MIDC were deployed to the scene, and the fire was brought under control by 5 AM, after which a cooling operation was launched to prevent any further flare-ups.
