Mukesh was well supported by Shahbaz Ahmed (4-96) and Md Kaif (2-42) as Bengal bundled out UP for 292 to take a vital first innings lead. Earlier, Bengal scored 311 in their first innings. At stumps on Day 3, Bengal were cruising at 141 for no loss, with a handy second-innings lead of 160 runs.
