Morena, May 18 (Reporter) A youth was shot dead in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh due to a land dispute, police said on Sunday. According to police sources, Babi Gujjar, a resident of Barwasin village in Devgarh police station area, had gone to Taur village in Kailaras police station area with his father, Natthi Gujjar, and brother, Kalli Gujjar, to buy buffaloes. At around midnight on Saturday, Ramveer Gujjar, Udayveer Gujjar, and their associates allegedly opened fire on them, hitting Babi Gujjar with three bullets, resulting in his death at the spot. The father and brother managed to escape. The accused fled the scene after the incident. The police said the deceased and the accused families are relatives and have been embroiled in a long-standing dispute over government land.
