MP Receives ‘National e-Governance Gold Award’ for Sampada 2.0 Software

On the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Sampada 2.0 software launched at the state level on October 10, 2024, has brought national pride to Madhya Pradesh. This innovative initiative has received the ‘National e-Governance Gold Award’ for the year 2025. The award, given by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Government of India, is in the category “Government Process Re-engineering by Use of Technology for Digital Transformation.”

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the people of the state, the Commercial Tax Department, the Inspector General of Registration & the Superintendent of Stamps and all officers & staff associated with the project. He said, “Sampada 2.0 has made Madhya Pradesh a leader in the field of digital land management in the country. This initiative will not only enhance transparency and efficiency but also enable citizens to access safe and simple registration services without visiting an office. It marks a significant step towards our commitment to Digital India and good governance. It is a significant step towards our commitment to Digital India and Good Governance.” Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to implement fully paperless e-registration of documents.

Under the Indian Stamp Act, faceless registration via video KYC is now possible for 75 of the approximately 140 types of documents, eliminating the need to visit the sub-registrar’s office. This process will also help reduce impersonation and land-related disputes.
