Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, on behalf of the Council of Ministers, extended heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. CM Dr. Yadav also congratulated the Defence Minister, Home Minister, the Indian Armed Forces, and all personnel of paramilitary forces. He stated that the swift and technologically superior military action has introduced the world to India’s evolving leadership, which is a matter of immense pride for all Indians.
Before the Cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav briefed ministers on several key initiatives and developments, including The status of wheat procurement in Madhya Pradesh, The MoU signed with Maharashtra for the interlinking of rivers, Upcoming joint cultural, religious, and historical initiatives between Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, Investment promotion events to be held in Bengaluru and Indore, and The Cabinet meeting and Vision Document @2047 discussion scheduled for May 20 in Indore.
Dr. Yadav informed that wheat procurement was carried out at 3,475 centres across the state until May 5, involving crops from around 9 lakh farmers. A total of 77.74 lakh metric tonnes of wheat has been procured, out of which 74.42 lakh metric tonnes have already been stored. So far, farmers have received payments amounting to ₹18,471 crore, with only ₹400 crore pending, which will be disbursed soon.
