Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan has said that voter slips have been distributed to more than 99 percent of the voters in the 6 parliamentary constituencies where voting is to be held in the first phase on April 19. The voter slip has a QR code also. In the first phase, voting will be held on April 19 in 6 parliamentary constituencies including Sidhi, Shahdol (ST), Jabalpur, Mandla (ST), Balaghat and Chhindwara. The total number of voters here are one crore 13 lakh 9 thousand 638. Of these, voter slips containing QR codes have been distributed to 1 crore 12 lakh 18 thousand 550 voters. The distribution of voter slips has also started in the 7 parliamentary constituencies where voting is to be held in the second phase.
