Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, amidst chants of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' in Bikaner, said that resolution of a developed India is getting stronger. Development is going on at rapid pace across the country; unprecedented work has been done in the last 11 years to develop our roads and railway network. The country is now spending six times more money on development works than before. The world is amazed to see the development work happening in India. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was addressing the virtual inauguration program of 103 Amrit Stations from the programme organized in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the inauguration ceremony at Narmadapuram railway station. Under the program, Amrit Stations of Narmadapuram, Katni, Orchha, Seoni, Shajapur, and Shridham in the state were inaugurated.
All stations will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. These stations have incorporated Indian culture, heritage, and passenger facilities. Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Union Law and Justice Minister Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal were present at the program held in Bikaner. Public Works Minister of the state Dr. Rakesh Singh, MP Shri Darshan Singh Chaudhary, Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Maya Narolia, former Assembly Speaker Shri Sitasharan Sharma, and local MLAs were present at the inauguration ceremony of Narmadapuram railway station. It is noteworthy that under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS), 103 Amrit Stations located in 86 districts of 18 states and union territories of India have been developed at a cost of over ₹1100 crore.
