Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the state government is fully committed to bringing the tribal communities of Madhya Pradesh into the mainstream of development. In alignment with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the development of tribal areas is being accelerated with a focus on the implementation of PESA rules, ensuring the comprehensive welfare of tribal brothers and sisters.He highlighted that tribal families living in remote regions are now receiving the full benefits of Central Government schemes, including pucca houses, free ration, and free medical treatment under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Dr. Yadav emphasized the government’s continuous efforts to secure a bright future for every poor and underprivileged child in the state.To support and empower tendu leaf collectors, the government has increased the procurement price by ₹1,000—raising it to ₹4,000 per standard sack—and is also providing bonuses. He informed that there are currently around 15,000 forest committees operating in the state. Minor forest produce committees, he added, are playing a key role in providing safe and sustainable self-employment opportunities for the tribal population.Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made these remarks while addressing the Tendu Patta, Forest Committees, and Tribal Conference held in Harsud, Khandwa district, on Thursday.
