Patna, July 24 (Reporter) Bihar Parliamentary Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary profusely appreciated the Centre in Assembly, for assistance to the state announced in union budget, presented in parliament on Tuesday.
Chaudhary during the post lunch sitting of the House, said ruckus created by opposition over demand for special status to Bihar, was totally uncalled for. Opposition should take note of assistance announced in union budget and appreciate it, he pointed out.
" House should adopt a motion to thank the Centre for assistance to Bihar announced in union budget", Minister suggested. A number of projects relating to road connectivity, tourism, medical colleges and flood management had
been proposed in union budget, he stated.
" Unprecedented assistance for Bihar in union budget has been proposed in Bihar", Chaudhary said with a sign of pleasure on his face, adding that no government at the Centre had ever shown such a gesture to Bihar despite repeated demands.
Opposition members who had created ruckus in pre-lunch sitting of the House over special status demand for Bihar, also trooped into well in post lunch sitting and raised anti government slogans. Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav asked the opposition members to
return to their seats but it did not yield any result.
