Jammu, May 4 (Reporter) A group of militants on Saturday evening attacked a convoy of Indian Air Force in Mendhar-Surankote area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir. "An Indian Air Force (IAF) vehicle convoy was attacked by militants in the Poonch district of J&K, near Shahsitar," IAF handle posted on 'X'. It further posted that cordon and search operations (CASO) are underway presently in the area by local military units. "The convoy has been secured, and further investigation is under progress," it posted. Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports said five soldiers including one of IAF suffered injuries when militants fired on the IAF convoy.
