Imphal, May 19 (Reporter) Manipur Police conducted combing operations during the last 24 hours and nabbed a militant from Mayang Imphal Bazar under Mayang Imphal-PS, Imphal West District. He was involved in extortion activities , police said. Manipur Police has also intensified security at Ukhrul in view of the ensuing Shirui festival to ensure safe passage of people.
