Srinagar, Sep 2 (Reporter)Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Mehooba Mufti on Monday questioned the National Conference’s performance during their decades-long rule in Jammu and Kashmir.
“What PDP is saying, is we are telling the truth. The National Conference had the most seats, what was their performance? The bonhomie between the PDP and NC after the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019 has finally collapsed now with both parties sharpening their attacks against each other.

The PDP leader also targeted Omar Abdullah, the former Chief Minister, for his tenure as a minister in the BJP government.
"Omar Sahib was part of the BJP, he brought the POTA (Prevention of Terrorism Act),…. He also used to advocate for attacking Pakistan," Mufti said.
The PDP leader highlighted their own party's achievements during their time in power.
"When we were part of the BJP government, we did it on conditions. We rolled back FIRs of almost 12000 youth. We brought a large delegation from Delhi to the doorstep of Hurriyat. We implemented a ceasefire," she said.
The leader also referred to the 2009 Shopian “rape & murder case”, saying, "Omar Sahib's performance can also be seen in that."
“ During my tenure ( as Chief Minister) a very unfortunate incident ( referring to 2018 Kathua rape-murder case), I dropped two ministers,” she said...////...
