Nagpur, Dec 16 (Reporter) Describing the accident of BEST bus in Mumbai in which seven people lost their lives and many were severely injured as the serious incident, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday told the Maharashtra Council that measures are being taken to prevent such incidents from happening in future. Speaking under Rule 289 in the upper house, he said that the Brihanmumbai Municipal commissioner has been instructed to prepare a plan in consultation with the BEST chairman in order to implement measures after knowing the facts of BEST buses. The driver of the BEST bus which was involved in accident has been examined, he informed. Having taken a note of this incident, the Chief Minister said that the state government has ordered to start a random inspection of bus drivers, he informed.
