MEA confirms Indian passengers of Dubai sent back from Jamaica over documentation

New Delhi, May 9 (Reporter) The Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday said a chartered flight carrying several Indian passengers from Dubai was sent back from Jamaica due to concerns over their documentation. Addressing a weekly press conference here, the spokesperson of MEA Randhir Jaiswal confirmed that, "We are given to understand that a chartered flight from Dubai landed in Jamaica with several Indians onboard. They had prior travel and hotel bookings. He added that the local authorities were not satisfied with their documents. They were sent back to Dubai on 7th May...////...
