Chandigarh, Dec 6 (Reporter) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday said that his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Singh Mann should visit the agitating farmers at Shambhu border and speak with them.
Saini, speaking with the media, said that he would like to urge Mann to listen to grievances.
Saini claimed that his government was giving MSP on all the crops. He also said that the Narendra Modi government at centre has been working in the interests of farmers.
Notably, around 100 farmers on Friday were on their way to Delhi on foot, when they were stopped at Shambhu border by barricades of Haryana police.
Police lobbed tear gas shells, in which 6-7 farmers have been reportedly injured.
Farmers are demanding a law to guarantee minimum support price for their produce and promises made by the Narendra Modi government at the time of ending agitation in 2021 over three Farm Laws...////...
