Manipur Police nab two in question leakage case

Imphal, Mar 5 (Reporter) Manipur Police nabbed two persons for alleged involvement in the question paper leak case. Police said on Wednesday that in response to the leak of the Physics question paper for the COHSEM examination, a case was registered at the Cyber Crime Police Station in Manipur, and a thorough investigation was launched. Acting swiftly, the individuals responsible for the leak were identified and apprehended. The accused were identified as Maibam Sunil, a physics teacher at Paradise English School, Thoubal, and an AOC Exam Centre staff member. He also operates a private hostel. The other one was identified as Ningombam Jagdish, Thoubal District—a chemistry teacher at Paradise English School, Thoubal. Both individuals were arrested following due legal procedures. Incriminating evidence, including mobile phones, was seized from their possession. Police said the Manipur Police remain committed to conducting a thorough investigation and will continue taking all necessary measures to uphold the integrity of the examination process and ensure a fair system.
