Male, Oct 31 (Reporter) The Maldivian military has begun military training exercises in collaboration with Indian forces, media reports said. The High Commission of India in the Maldives revealed this via social media platform ‘X’ on Wednesday. The high commission revealed that the seventh edition of the joint exercise ‘Ekatha’, commenced between Maldives and India on Wednesday. According to the high commission, the exercise will further strengthen cooperation to address shared maritime challenges. The High Commission's post included photos from the opening ceremony of the training showing a large number of Indian and Maldivian soldiers together.
