Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that it is necessary to think and discuss topics like modernization of libraries, automation, networking, digitalization, green libraries, and the importance of libraries in the new national education policy. This will pave the way for the modernization of libraries and maintaining their usefulness in the contemporary education system. In the changing environment, libraries should continue to play the role of source of knowledge in the society due to information technology, for which we all must make libraries an integral part of the society. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural session of the two-day international conference organized by Vikram University, Ujjain on the topic “Role and Challenges of Library in the Changing Educational and Social Environment” virtually from Mantralaya.
