Nashik, Apr 6 (Reporter) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Harshwardhan Sapkal on Sunday criticised Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the BJP along with the ruling Mahayuti in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra Congress chief, who was on a visit to Nashik on Sunday, visited the Kalaram temple in the city on the occasion of Ram Navami. He also attended various programs. While addressing the office bearers of Congress party at the Congress office in the city, Sapkal hit out against the BJP and the Mahayuti. Sapkal said: “BJP and its organizations are taking the name of Lord Shri Ramchandra only for politics. The common man of the state and the country is a devotee of Ram since birth. Therefore, only this common man who is a devotee of Ram will one day throw BJP out of power. Lord Gautam Buddha established a different religion. Mahavira presented a different philosophy. Saint Basaveshwar taught a different religion. The Varkari sect of Saint Dnyaneshwar and Saint Tukaram emerged. What ideology troubled these saints? At that time, against whom and from whom did he separate himself. Was Aurangzeb there then? The same religious trend that the Sangh and the BJP represent was troubling all of them,” said Harshvardhan Sapkal. Sapkal further said: “Union Home Minister Amit Shah is going to visit Raigad Fort on April 12. However, he should first propose that Prashant Koratkar, who insulted Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, be given strict punishment. Also, Rahul Solapurkar should be arrested. Golwalkar Guruji of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has insulted Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in his book 'Bunch of Thoughts'. He should clarify his position regarding that book, only then come to Raigad Fort,” he added. He continued: "Everyone should be wary of the BJP and its thought leaders in the Mahayuti. In Maharashtra, 239 out of 288 MLAs are from the ruling Mahayuti, and their government is also at the Centre. "Then why are there no loan waivers for farmers, increased honorarium for the Ladki Bahin Yojana, prices for agricultural products, and why are the youth not getting jobs? From this, it is seen that all these people are deceiving the people. To divert the people from their real issues, they are working to mislead them by raising issues like Aurangzeb. However, all this politics of theirs will not remain until the Congress party exposes them one day," Sapkal said...////...
