Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Jabalpur represents the confluence of culture, values, and education. It is both the land of traditions and of justice. Describing the city as the flow of skill and learning, he said Mahakaushal is blessed with unmatched natural beauty and the divine grace of the River Narmada. The Chief Minister reminded that his government held its first cabinet meeting in Jabalpur, where the state’s development priorities were set. He said that with the completion and inauguration of Madhya Pradesh’s largest elevated corridor in Jabalpur, trade and business have received new momentum.

CM Dr. Yadav addressed a public gathering at the Mahakaushal Autonomous College auditorium during a program dedicated to the inauguration and Bhoomi Poojan of several development projects, as well as the felicitation of meritorious students and educators. He urged all educational institutions to become strong foundations of study and teaching for the nation and society. Schools and colleges, he said, should serve as temples of knowledge, not merely as degree-awarding centers. He emphasised employment-oriented education that equips students with skills while they study.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav noted that lakhs of youths in the state have started their own ventures, driving India’s start-up revolution and giving new direction to society and the economy. He said the youth of Madhya Pradesh are becoming pioneers in bringing a “Swadeshi Revolution.” Paying tribute to the late Eshwardas Rohani, CM Dr. Yadav said that his son and current MLA Ashok Rohani is carrying forward his legacy. Highlighting the government’s commitment to tribal welfare, the Chief Minister announced a historic decision to procure kodo at ₹2,500 per quintal and kutki at ₹3,500 per quintal. He said that crop loans would continue to be available at zero percent interest for farmers. Remembering the valor of Queen Durgavati, Queen Avantibai, and revolutionary leaders Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Shaheed Bhagat Singh, he said that their sacrifices will always inspire the nation.
