Maha suspends bus service to Karnataka following attack on ST bus driver

Mumbai, Feb 23 (Reporter) Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik has ordered suspension of state transport bus services to Karnataka following an alleged attack on a state-run Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus and its driver by pro-Kannada activists in Karnataka’s Chitradurga. Sarnaik said that the bus services will remain suspended till the Congress-ruled Karnataka government clear its stance on the issue. On Saturday, the face of an MSRTC bus driver was allegedly blackened during the assault, as a result Shiv Sena (UBT) workers in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur tied party flags on a Karnataka bus and allegedly painted it black...////...
