Mumbai, Apr 8 (Reporter) A day after an IndiGo flight made emergency landing following discovery of an alleged threat note in its galley, the city police registered an FIR against an unknown person in this connection, an official said here on Tuesday.
Notably, IndiGo flight 6E 5324 from Jaipur to Mumbai landed after full emergency was declared at the
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai on Monday night. The full emergency was declared at 8:43 PM and the flight landed safely at 8:50 PM.
Following which, flight attendant Bhumika Joshi, who found the threat note while on duty mid-air in the plane’s galley, lodged a complaint.
“I saw a letter on the tabletop. I opened the letter and it read, ‘Open it. Surprise. Bomb is waiting for you guys. Not a joke’,” Joshi stated.
She immediately reported it to a senior crew member who, in turn, informed the pilot.
