Maha: Opposition spreading false narrative about Union Budget: MoS

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jul 27 (Reporter) Union Minister of State for Co-operation and Civil Aviation, Muralidhar Mohol, on Saturday accused the opposition parties of spreading false narrative about no provision being made in Union Budget for Maharashtra. Addressing a press conference here, he claimed that wrong information is being given ahead of upcoming assembly election in the state. While commenting on important matters in the budget, he said that although the names of two states were mentioned while presenting the budget, that does not mean that this budget is only for two states, he argued. He blamed the opposition for trying to set up a false narrative ahead of assembly poll. He said that there has been a provision of Rs 15.05 thousand crore for Railway projects in Maharashtra, including laying of new railway routes, and pointed that the state has been well provided for in this budget. Giving details of provisions made in Union Budget, the MoS said that this budget is development oriented meant for development of the common man. He informed that Rs 1.05 lakh crore have been allocated for cooperative and agriculture sectors. Furthermore, 20-25 airports will be built in the country in near future, he added...////...
