Nandurbar, Mar 4 (Reporter) One student died on the spot and 15 other students were injured when a truck hit a school vehicle near Hingani village on the Shahada-Shirpur road in the district. A school vehicle carrying students from Torkheda to Shirpur met with an accident near this village on Monday. When the school vehicle of the students reached Hingani village, the truck going from Shahada to Shirpur hit the school vehicle hard. A Hingani village is located near the border of Dhule district in Shahada taluka. In this accident, Prashant Bhagwan Ghorpade, the 20-year-old son of the driver of the school vehicle, died on the spot. Following the incident, local citizens promptly arrived at the accident site, removed 15 injured students from their school vehicle, and took them to the Shirpur sub-hospital. The students who have been injured are between the age group of 9 to 15, and they travel from Nandurbar district to Shirpur every day for school.
