Mumbai, Nov 3 (Reporter) NCP-AP working president Praful Patel on Sunday criticised the opposition Congress party, indicating that it will have to face a Haryana-like defeat in Maharashtra Assembly election due to overconfidence. Making a comparison with cricket in his social media post, he said, "Confidence is huge, but it is good to have a reality check." Citing the Indian cricket team's unexpected loss to New Zealand, he said that the Indian team's defeat was a 'lesson in humility', hinting that the Congress has been criticised for being overconfident in upcoming Maharashtra Assembly election. Patel also said, "While the example of Haryana's defeat is fresh, it seems that Congress is moving towards a lead in Maharashtra."
