Mumbai, May 26 (Reporter) The city police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) questioned Bollywood actor Dino Morea and his brother Santino Morea in the Mumbai multi-crore Mithi river desilting scam, official sources said here on Monday. The actor and his brother, who were served a summons last week, appeared before the EOW office at the Mumbai police headquarters and joined the probe. Officials confirmed the news and said that the Morea brothers are being questioned for their possible links with the firm linked to the Mithi river scam and close links with the arrested accused Ketan Kadam of Vodar India Ltd. The SIT (special investigation team) of EOW is probing the scam, in which the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation suffered a wrongful loss of more than Rs 50 crore.
