Mumbai, Sep 12 (Reporter) The city police are investigating the death of Anil Mehta, stepfather of Bollywood actresses Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora, from various angles, officials said on Thursday. Deputy commissioner of police Raj Tilka Roshan said, "We are investigating all angles in detail and forensic teams and other investigators have collected several evidence in this case." Sources also said that police have also taken into custody mobile phone of Anil Mehta and examining the chats and calls' details to find out the reason why Mehta has taken this extern step. Meanwhile, his post-mortem report revealed that he died of multiple injuries. Mehta, who jumped off the sixth floor of his residential building in Bandra West on Wednesday morning, had reportedly called Malaika and Amrita moments before committing suicide, stating that "I am sick and tired". When his family members tried to speak to him again, he switched off his phone. When Anil Mehta jumped from the sixth floor of the building, Malaika's mother was in the same flat. Reportedly, Malaika's mother, Joyce, also stated to the police that she was there in the house when Anil passed away. According to her, Anil used to read newspapers while sitting on the balcony every morning. On the day he passed away, she went to check on him on the balcony but could not find him. When she leaned over to the railing, she saw the bodyguard was shouting for help. Joyce also stated to the police that Anil was not suffering from any illness and had minor knee pain...////...
