Nashik, Sep 12 (Reporter) The direct flight connectivity between Nashik and Bengaluru has now become a reality, with IndiGo Airlines commencing flight operations from HAL Ozar Airport, Nashik to Bengaluru. The maiden flight of IndiGo Airlines from Bengaluru was welcomed at HAL Ozar Airport here, which was welcomed by Saket Chaturvedi, chief executive officer (MiG complex), HAL Nasik in presence of Subrata Mondal, general manager, Aircraft Overhaul Division, HAL Nasik, on September 10. The Airbus A321 flight to Nashik from Bengaluru will fly daily in a week. It will depart from Bengaluru airport at 1430 hours and arrive at Nashik at 1620 hrs. On return journey, the flight will depart from Nashik at 1650 hrs and arrive at Bengaluru at 1830 hrs. With this IndiGo flight, HAL Ozar Airport has now direct air connectivity with seven cities in the country such as New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Goa and Indore. The HAL management is looking forward and developing the HAL Ozar Airport for both domestic and international flights.
