Mumbai, Sep 25 (Reporter) The India Meteorological Department has sounded a red alert in Mumbai and Thane, while an orange alert in Palghar on September 26, predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall and thunderstorms over next two days. Similarly, it has issued a red alert in Raigad on the same day, forecasting extremely heavy rainfall and adverse weather conditions. "Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is very likely over Madhya Maharashtra on September 25 and 26, and Konkan and Goa till September 26; isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall likely over Madhya Maharashtra till Thursday and isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Madhya Maharashtra till Friday,” the IMD wrote in its bulletin...////...
