Maha: DyCM assures to slap MCOCA on perpetrators of Kailas Borade in Jalna

Mumbai, Mar 5 (Reporter) Terming incident of alleged assault on Kailas Borade, a youth from Dhangar community, in Bhokardan of Jalna district as 'unfortunate' and 'a disgrace to humanity', Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced in the Maharashtra Legislative Council on Wednesday that he will discuss issue with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and ask him to impose stringent MCOCA on the perpetrators. He made this announcement when issue of assault on Borade at Bhokardan was raised in the upper house by member Shashikant Shinde. While making a statement on it, Deputy CM said, "I have spoken to the Superintendent of Police of Jalna in this regard. The Guardian Minister of Jalna will visit the place. The assault on Borade is very inhuman. The video of that incident makes you feel shocked." Injured Borade was admitted to a private hospital for medical treatment, he informed and said that he spoke to Borade on phone and assured him that the government is behind him. The perpetrators in this incident will not be spared at all, Shinde said, adding, the process of imposing MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) on them will be done through the Home department...////...
