Mumbai, Mar 25 (Reporter) In an interesting development in celebrity manager Disha Salian death case, lawyer of her father submitted a complaint with the city police on Tuesday, accusing Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray and a former city police commissioner, among others, of being involved in the death of Disha Salian.
“Today, we have filed a written complaint with the Commissioner of Police, and the Joint Commissioner of Police Crime has accepted it," the lawyer Nilesh Ojha told reporters here.
"The accused in this case are Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi and his bodyguard, Parambir Singh, Sachin Vaze and Rhea Chakraborty."
Disha, a former manager of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, died on June eight, 2020, after falling from a high-rise in Mumbai. Police then registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) case.
Disha's death is being probed by an SIT (special investigation team) constituted by the government in 2023.
In his complaint, Disha's father claimed that on June eight, 2020, his daughter had organised a party at her home that was attended by Aaditya Thackeray and actors Sooraj Pancholi and Dino Morea.
Aaditya Thackeray has denied all the allegations, calling them 'baseless'.
He claimed that the allegations were an attempt by the BJP to tarnish his reputation.
"It has been ongoing for the past five years. If the matter is in court, I will respond in court," the Worli MLA had said last week...////...
