Maha: CM requests Union govt to built statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Delhi

Mumbai, Apr 12 (Reporter) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday urged BJP led central government to build a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Delhi. Addressing people at Raigad Fort in Raigad district of Maharashtra on the 345th death anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, he made a request to the Home Minister in his speech by saying, “I would like to request the Union Home Minister Amit Shah for a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Delhi. We will be visiting for it.” On the occasion, Amit Shah offered tributes to Maratha empire founder Chhatrapati Shivaji on his 345th death anniversary at Raigad Fort. He also took part in the centenary celebration of the renovation of the Shivaji Maharaj’s mausoleum.
