Mumbai, Oct 10 (Reporter) The world has lost a multi-faceted personality who can be called a precious gem with a rare combination of pure humanity, true patriotism, and high-end entrepreneurship, said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday while paying tribute to Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata who died in Mumbai on Wednesday. Ratan Tata was the leader of industrial world who guided generations of entrepreneurs like a lamppost and was the best example of social responsibility, the Chief Minister said, calling him the backbone of modern Indian industry. The relationship between the Tata family and Mumbai has remained unbreakable as he loved Mumbai a lot, the Chief Minister said. Ratan Tata has always contributed substantially to Mumbai while supporting social and public welfare activities along with the industrial sector in Maharashtra, said Shinde. 'He had a great entrepreneurial vision. In that, too, humanity was the central point; it was noticed while interacting with them.
