Mumbai Apr 30 ( UNI) The Maharashtra government on Wednesday appointed senior IPS officer Deven Bharti of the 1994 batch as the police commissioner of Mumbai. The current police commissioner, Vivek Phansalkar, retired on Wednesday. Bharti headed the Mumbai police team which investigated the Mumbai 26/11 terror attack.
