Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Information Technology is the foundation of current and future technologies. For Madhya Pradesh to stay aligned with modern developments and to expand industrial activities, investment and growth in the IT sector are essential. With this goal in mind, the state is organising its first sector-based conclave focused on IT, following the Global Investors Summit.
Dr. Yadav emphasised that major cities in the state already have a strong IT industry base. The government is committed to extending all necessary cooperation and support to elevate Madhya Pradesh’s IT industry to national and global prominence. The upcoming “Tech Growth Conclave” in Indore on April 27 is expected to yield concrete results in this direction.
The Chief Minister interacted virtually with IT entrepreneurs from various districts via Samatva Bhavan at the CM’s residence. During the interaction, industry leaders highlighted the need to expand IT parks and called for better alignment between education and industry to ensure a skilled workforce. They also discussed promoting entrepreneurial culture in startups, reducing tax on natural gas, and enhancing coordination within the startup community.
