Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, speaking at the Spiritual and Wellness Summit in Ujjain, stated that inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's visionary initiatives like "Heal in India" and "Lifestyle for Environment (LiFE)", Madhya Pradesh is being developed as a global centre for holistic lifestyle and wellness innovation. He described the summit as a transformative initiative where policy, investment, spirituality, and social welfare converged. Dr. Yadav affirmed that Madhya Pradesh is ready to lead India’s wellness mission as its global engine.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held 14 One-on-One meetings with investors from the wellness and hospitality sectors, discussing ground-level requirements, investment-friendly policies, and priority areas. The summit received investment proposals worth over Rs. 1929 crore during the summit. Dr. Yadav also mentioned the auspicious coincidence of World Environment Day and Ganga Dussehra falling on the same day. On this occasion, the “One Tree in Mother's Name” campaign was relaunched in the state, under which 5 crore saplings have been planted.
CM Dr. Yadav, addressing the media, emphasised that the government is working rapidly toward employment generation. He said that the development of integrated healthcare centres at religious sites aims to provide people across the world with both health and spiritual well-being. He highlighted that the Regional Industry Conclaves held at all divisional headquarters last year and the Global Investors Summit held in February under the guidance of PM Modi have had Investment Proposals of Rs 30 Lakh Crore, potentially generating 21.75 lakh employment opportunities.
