Union Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare Shri J.P. Nadda and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended a national event marking World AIDS Day held in Indore on Sunday. Adressing the event, Union Minister Shri Nadda highlighted India’s united and determined fight against HIV/AIDS under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He noted that significant progress is being made in controlling the disease, thanks to focused and swift efforts initiated by the Central Government since 2017. Shri Nadda emphasized that the rights of individuals affected by HIV/AIDS are being safeguarded, ensuring their integration into the mainstream of society. These concerted efforts are yielding positive results and contributing to the broader goal of eradicating HIV/AIDS in the country.
