Selja on Thursday said the results of the Lok Sabha elections have made it clear that the next government in Haryana will be formed by the Congress.
Claiming the public's "infatuation" with the ruling BJP has completely faded, she pointed out that the India Alliance received 61,92,627 votes, which is 1,96,114 more than the BJP in the state.
In a statement released to the media, Kumari Selja said that there is enthusiasm among the workers regarding Congress' victory in Haryana.
In the Assembly elections, Congress will write a new history of success with enthusiasm.
Kumari Selja said the state government has proven to be a "failure" on every front, "Haryana
ranks number one in unemployment, drug abuse and crime.
She said the Haryana Assembly elections are likely to be held in October or earlier. The tenure of the Assembly is to end on November 3. The last Assembly election was held in October 2019.
She said in the Lok Sabha election, the BJP received 59,96,464 votes, Congress received 56,79,473 votes, and the Aam Aadmi Party received 5,13,154 votes, meaning the INDIA bloc received 61,92,627 votes
