Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has said that Lokrang is a commendable effort to introduce youth and children to our cultural heritage by highlighting our folk values​​and artistic wealth. He expressed hope that Lokrang will inspire and encourage everyone to preserve India’s glorious past and rich cultural traditions, our rich cultural heritage, with combined efforts, faith and cooperation. Governor Shri Patel said that the happy, prosperous and free life that we all are leading in independent India is an invaluable legacy of the immortal sacrifice of our ancestors. Republic Day celebration is an opportunity to commit ourselves to building a developed India by taking inspiration from the indomitable bravery, courage, penance and sacrifice of freedom fighters. Governor Shri Patel was addressing the art lovers present at the five-day 39th Lokrang fest in the Rabindra Bhawan complex.
