New Delhi, Feb 10 (Reporter) India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted light shower across Central and East India for the next 3-4 days. Under the influence of lower level trough in easterlies along the west coast and its likely east northeastward movement, isolated to scattered light rainfall activity likely over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha during February 10 to 13, the IMD said in a statement. Parts of south Uttar Pradesh, south Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal will also witness light shower from February 12-14, it said. According to IMD, isolated light intensity thunderstorm accompanied with lightning very likely over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during February 11 & 12 and over Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal during February 13 & 14. Light isolated rainfall likely over Telangana on February 10 & 11. The weather department also predicted rise in minimum temperatures by 3-5 degrees Celsius over parts of Northwest, Central, East & West India during the next 5 days.
