Srinagar, Oct 14 (Reporter) Founder and Chairman of Legends Cricket League T20 Vivek Khushalani and Renowned commentator and former captain of Team India Ravi Shastri called on National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah at his Gupkar residence here on Monday. During their visit, Khushalani and Ravi Shastri discussed the promotion of sports with the Chief Minister designate Omar, especially cricket, in Jammu and Kashmir to create more opportunities for the sports sector, a NC statement said. The NC Vice President, whose party won the assembly election, is likely to take the oath of office as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir during this week. Omar, during the discussion has said that there is no lack of skills and talent among the Kashmiri youth and emphasized that they just need health direction and exposure. “I hope that organizing tournaments like Legends League will encourage the youth here towards sports”, the NC leader told the visiting dignitaries. Currently the last leg of the Legends League Cricket T20 is under way here at the Bakshi Stadium here in which several national and International players are participating.
