Patna, Apr 6 (Reporter) Senior JD(U) leader and Bihar Rural Works Minister Ashok Chaudhary on Saturday said RJD Chief Lalu Prasad has never been honest to his allies during seat sharing in elections and also on other issues. Chaudhary told media persons here that Lalu had always taken benefits of joining hands with other parties but did not reciprocate such benefits to them. Honesty of Lalu towards his political partners had always been doubtful, he pointed out. "Mass base of Congress continues to shrink in Bihar since the party joined hands with RJD", JD(U) leader said adding that he failed to see why Congress was keeping ties with RJD. Lalu had always let down his partners when his crucial support was needed, he remarked. As it is, several leaders of the Bihar Congress are fed up with Lalu for not sparing Purnea, Aurangabad, Supaul, and some other seats for the party. Former MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav had recently merged his Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) with Congress, in anticipation that he would get an opportunity to contest on a party ticket from the Purnea seat. But Lalu did not spare Purnea's seat for Congress and fielded Beema Bharti as the RJD candidate from this seat. Bharti had recently left JD(U) to contest on an RJD ticket from Purnea. Similarly, senior Congress leader Nikhil Kumar was also interested in contesting from the Aurangabad seat but this seat has gone into the kitty of RJD during seat sharing among constituents of INDIA bloc for ongoing Lok Sabha elections in Bihar...////...
