Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government has always prioritized the welfare of daughters, sisters, and mothers. To promote the birth of daughters and ensure their secure future, the government launched the Mukhyamantri Ladli Laxmi Yojana on April 1, 2007. This unique scheme, aimed at improving the gender ratio, supports girls from birth through their education and marriage by providing financial assistance to parents. The scheme helps ensure that no parent views their daughter as a burden, freeing them from worries about her education and allowing them to focus solely on shaping her bright future. Due to the overwhelming response to the scheme, the gender ratio in the state has significantly improved.
