Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, addressing the Women Self-Help Group Empowerment Conference in Mangawan, Rewa district, affirmed that no effort will be spared for the region’s development. He expressed pride in honoring the women of Rewa and reiterated that the Ladli Behna Yojana will continue uninterrupted. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, additional financial assistance will be provided under the scheme. The amount disbursed under this scheme will be increased to Rs. 3,000 over the next three years.
The Chief Minister stated that women are being given a 2% concession in property registration fees, resulting in 70% of properties being registered in women’s names over the past year. He reaffirmed the state government's commitment to women empowerment, adding that self-help groups will also receive incentives for setting up industries. At the event, Dr. Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development works worth Rs. 49.97 crore. He noted that Rewa is progressing rapidly and assured all possible support for the region’s development. Every farm in Rewa will be provided irrigation facilities. Farmers will be given electricity connections for irrigation at just Rs. 5. In the next three years, 32 lakh farmers will receive solar pumps, freeing them from electricity bills. Farmers will be able to use solar power for their needs, and the government will purchase surplus power from them.
