Hyderabad, Mar 27 (Reporter) In a scathing attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, BRS working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) accused the Congress government of hypocrisy, financial mismanagement, and failure to fulfill its promises. During the debate on the State Appropriation Bill 2025-26 in the assembly on Thursday, KTR questioned Revanth Reddy’s political credibility, highlighting his inconsistent stance and past allegations against opponents. He accused the Congress government of neglecting Telangana’s rights, failing to secure funds from the Centre, and misleading the public on welfare schemes. “Where are the funds for the six guarantees?” KTR demanded. He also criticised the Congress government’s handling of agriculture, law enforcement, and financial planning, calling out contradictions in revenue claims and extravagant spending on tenders. He slammed the Centre for ignoring Telangana’s contributions, accusing it of adopting state-led initiatives without offering financial support. KTR further alleged that the Congress regime has stalled crucial projects like Hyderabad Metro and Pharma City while law and order have deteriorated. “Revanth Reddy might celebrate his so-called victory, but people will reject Congress for 20 years after witnessing this misgovernance,” he asserted.
