Hyderabad, June 13 (Reporter) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led Telangana government, accusing it of gross negligence towards agriculture and education sectors.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), KTR alleged that the Congress government has failed to show any commitment to the farming community or the state's education system. He said that even as the monsoon season begins, there is no clarity or preparedness regarding the implementation of the farmer assurance schemes.
KTR criticised the government's inaction on several fronts, including what he termed as a “meagre loan waiver,” the absence of farmer assurance and pending insurance dues, and the stalling of key agricultural projects.
He expressed concern that agriculture, which he described as having become a "festival" during the BRS's decade-long rule, is now facing severe setbacks under the Congress regime in just over a year.
Highlighting the plight of the education sector, KTR said that despite schools reopening, the government continues to display a negligent attitude. He lamented that the robust welfare gurukul system, which flourished under BRS with the establishment of over a thousand residential schools, is now struggling due to a lack of proper support and planning...////...
