Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Krishi Bhawan in Delhi and had a detailed discussion with him on various issues of the state related to his ministries. Responding to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's initiative to encourage millets, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, urged to give Minimum Support Price to Kodo and Kutki produced in Madhya Pradesh so that the tribal farmers of the state can get special benefits. He requested to give Minimum Support Price of Rs 4290 for Kodo and Kutki at par with Ragi, which the Union Agriculture Minister readily accepted.
