KMRL conducts study for Water Metro Project in Srinagar

Kochi, June 3 (Reporter) The Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) has conducted a preliminary study for a Water Metro Project linking the famous Dal Lake and the Jhelum, at Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. A three-member team led by Kochi Water Metro Chief Operating Officer Sajan P John visited Srinagar in the third week of May and conducted the study saying that the project is feasible. The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has assigned the KMRL with the task of conducting a feasibility study for the proposed project.
