Thiruvananthapuram, May 18 (Reporter) The Kerala Health Department will organise a two-week 'Measles and Rubella Vaccination' campaign from May 19 to 31. Aiming to complete vaccination among children up to 5 years of age, the campaign will cover 6 districts --Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod. But, an institutional-level campaign will also be organized in areas with low vaccination coverage in the other 8 districts. Health Minister Veena George urged everyone to ensure that their children are vaccinated to protect them from measles and rubella diseases. As part of this campaign, children who have missed their measles and rubella vaccination doses will be identified and vaccinated under the leadership of health workers.
