Chandigarh, Dec 07 (Reporter) Haryana police have urged their counterpart in Punjab to keep Media persons away from farmers' protest site. In a letter, captioned "Safety of Media Persons", Haryana DGP requested his counterpart in Punjab to direct all concerned to stop Media persons at a safe distance (minimum 1 kilometer) away from the protest site in the interest of the safety of Media . Haryna DGP said Haryana police had faced a lot of problems in handling Law and Order situations at the border as many media persons accompanied the farmers when they approached the Haryana border on Friday despite a request not to allow media persons near the protest site. A group of 100 farmers tried to march towards Delhi on Friday demanding a law to guarantee MSP on their produce, but Haryana police stopped them at the border by erecting barricades and usingTear Gas Shells.
